DOWN THE DRAIN To Film 'Back Of Your Hand' Video

August 17, 2008

DOWN THE DRAIN — the Buffalo, New York-based quintet featuring MALEVOLENT CREATION singer Brett Hoffmann — will film footage for its first-ever official video, "Back Of Your Hand", on August 29, 2008 at The Red Eye Saloon in Lackawanna, New York.

DOWN THE DRAIN has posted the song "Back Of Your Hand" on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's sophomore album, "Ground Pounder", which was recorded with producer Doug White (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS, IT DIES TODAY, EVERY TIME I DIE) at Watchmen studios in Lockport, New York. The drums on the CD were laid down by Shane Rizziano, who recently returned to the fold after being dismissed from the group a few months ago. "We couldn't have done it with out him," the band says in a statement. "We welcome him back with open arms... and he will always be our brother."

DOWN THE DRAIN released its debut album, "Dying Inside", on September 18, 2007 via the Arctic Music Group.

Fan-filmed video footage of DOWN THE DRAIN's September 16, 2007 concert at Club Infinity in Buffalo can be viewed below.
